Tungeh Inn

🌈 A good spot for students or young people, close to famous landscapes and the monkey forest. The owners and staff were enthusiastic and helpful, just ask if you need anything. ⚖️ The room was quite old, and the bathroom needs replacing or renovating. Bring anti-section in the rainy season.

Made’s place felt like a peaceful little oasis right in the middle of Ubud. There are charming fountains, birds chirping, and lovely seating areas around the property, with traditional Balinese architecture all around. It’s easy to get about on foot or with a quick Gojek ride. The host and his family were warm from the moment we arrived and treated us like their own. Homemade food was lovely, room service was available whenever needed, and there’s a small convenience store just steps away. We wanted to experience local culture while traveling, and that’s exactly what we found here.

The inn feels very Bali, surrounded by nature, and the birds chirping will wake you up. Great value and location, and the room gets cold. The bathroom area is HUGE. The tiles are a little slippery, and the stairs down to the bathroom are a bit higher than normal.

I loved the quiet setting and how welcoming Made and his family were. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, with a lovely view of the natural landscape. Tungeh Inn is close to Ubud’s main attractions, yet peaceful enough for a restful stay. A wonderful, relaxing experience, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone after a serene, authentic stay in Ubud.
