The place was nice enough, but there’s a big, smelly rubbish area about 15 metres from the villa. Walking past it on the way to the cafes, we could smell rotten fish. Why reply saying you don’t know what we mean? Also, the older staff lady is sour.

Art Villa was so tranquil, and I hope I can return to relax in that lovely setting. The rooms were spacious, and the care felt personal. Breakfast was fresh with a good selection, and the beautiful ceramics and pottery were lovingly handmade. The staff were kind and helpful the whole time. The price was fantastic for what you get. The staff were all very kind and friendly, and breakfast was good. The pool is large and nice, though the resort could use a small renovation. During heavy rain, the roof leaked into our room. Our comfortable bed looked as if it might collapse, and the bathroom had an unpleasant odour, though it wasn’t too bad. I was also annoyed that they’d run out of beer when I wanted some that rainy night. It shouldn’t be difficult to restock before that happens. All in all, it’s a good place to stay if you’re not too picky. Don’t expect perfection.

The Villa is clean and picturesque, in a quiet setting with amazing restaurants nearby. Breakfast was delicious. Wayan and his lovely staff helped us with all our activities and requests. Highly recommend.

From the upper-level room, the views from bed over the countryside and Mount Agung were amazing. The pool was clean and just what I needed after walking back from town. A fantastic little retreat with a very friendly owner and staff. I’d definitely stay again!
