Chai House

It’s outside town and very peaceful, with a pool beside sawah rice fields. The rooms are older in style, the bedrooms are small, and the stairs are steep.

The pool was lovely, and the staff at the T House Klod were kind and respectful. They made us a nice breakfast every morning. Our stay at Chai T villa was a real treat. It felt secluded and surrounded by nature, with geckos and frogs around. The house is very open, so if you don't want animals in your accommodation, you might prefer an enclosed option. We didn't mind them at all and loved it. One evening, a resident asked us to be quiet at 8.30 pm while we were laughing by the pool. We respect nighttime quiet, but that felt very early to have to stay indoors. We think the person was a long term resident, so this wasn't T House Klod's fault. It might bother some holidaymakers more than it bothered us.

Taking a break from work pressure and the crowds with my friends was one of my best decisions. It's peaceful here, with rice fields and nature all around. I'd definitely come back next year 🤍🤍✨✨🫶🏻

It's a private, really quiet place, and I'd come back. The staff are friendly and happy to help with anything, from hot water to sorting out dinner for the night. They can also arrange a scooter. Check the prices offered on the street and compare, as 75k per month is a good deal. The pool is nice, though it can feel cold if you're used to a warm climate like I am in Jamaica. Be ready to share the place with wildlife too, including roaches, lizards, snakes, and mosquitos.
