For the price, the property is incredibly pretty. Our room was small but clean, arranged over two levels with the bed upstairs, which could be an accessibility issue, and it even had a hammock. The pool looked reasonably clean, though maybe not clean enough for swimming. Staff were super friendly. There was a little mix-up when we arrived to check in and nobody was there, but otherwise we had a really nice stay. We felt very safe, and the place was pretty with good services. There isn't proper car parking nearby, though, and the balcony door had no safe or chain lock.

We booked six nights but left for another hotel the same day, before spending even one night. The room was full of hair despite apparently being cleaned just before check-in, and the drain clogged almost right away. The rooms are much smaller than the pictures suggest. The poor staff seemed used to people wanting to leave, and I felt sorry for them. The owner's lack of response to comments makes it seem like they don't care about the guests paying to stay there. Calling this a three-star hotel is misleading. The photos on the website, social media, and booking platforms are very outdated. The place is dirty and falling apart, with the building and bamboo left without care. I barely touched a railing on the way to the seating area and could have fallen if I'd put just a little more weight on it. Drains were clogged, curtains dirty, tiles broken and raised, and towels smelly. What you see in the photos isn't what you get.

“Not a hotel” We left three nights early because the stay was unpleasant and uncomfortable. When we checked out, staff said they'd approve the refund, but it still hadn't been approved. I wish I'd read the one-star reviews before booking. Please be careful. There was no reception area for check-in, and the pool didn't look clean enough to swim in. The rooms were uncomfortable, the floors dirty, and the place felt old and poorly maintained. The split-level stairs seemed unstable and hard to climb. Switches and GPOs were uncovered, the towels looked as if they hadn't been replaced in years, and the drains didn't work properly. The front door by the pool had no privacy. Staff sat outside smoking in full view every day, so we kept the curtains shut, blocking natural light and making the room feel suffocating. Online photos looked nice, but the reality was completely different. We've stayed in other three-star hotels, and nothing about this place felt like a proper hotel.

The nice photos fooled us, and the terrible stay ruined my whole Ubud trip. I don't want anyone else to go through it. Please stay away. Everything was filthy and broken, with poor upkeep and no organization. The place was nothing like the online pictures. Maybe it looked that way when it was new, but it doesn't now. The toilet and bath drains wouldn't flush properly. The fridge and aircon made constant noise, so forget getting any rest. The owners sat outside eating and watching our every move, leaving us with no privacy. All the reviews look fake. This isn't a three-star hotel, it's more like a dirty motel. There are only 12 rooms, which is why you often see just a few available. That doesn't mean it's in demand, it just means 12 unlucky guests can fall into the same trap.

We left and found much better accommodation elsewhere after a horrible stay. The owners didn't seem to care and had a poor attitude about the state of the place. People giving it more than one star must be delusional and have no idea what's going on around them. The online pictures and the reality are two very different things. This place is falling apart and needs a complete renovation. The bath and shower wouldn't drain, the aircon didn't work, and the room and hallways were filthy. The pool was dirty and not swimmable. The towels stank, the curtains were dirty, and the balcony tiles were loose. The bamboo and thatch roof need replacing. Don't be fooled by the pictures or book here. You'll regret it. I could go on and on, but please don't stay here.
