We loved the place, the food, and the staff, and would happily do it all over again. Meals were really tasty, and we never worried about getting an upset stomach eating at the villa. The team were so nice, courteous, and quick to respond to our requests. Having a private pool and hot tub that we could use whenever we wanted was very convenient. We also loved the open-to-nature concept on the bottom floor, especially when it rained. The complimentary shuttle to Ubud market and town came in handy for our shopping trips.

A lovely break from city life. We felt at home, with fresh, great food and friendly staff around. I fell in love with quiet mornings swimming by the pool and having brunch, with a beautiful golden retriever nearby. The shuttle to and from restaurants around Ubud Central was much appreciated too.

We had a lovely stay, with great service, clean rooms, and a quiet location that still has restaurants and bars nearby. Our room had its own pool, which was cleaned promptly every day. Mosquitoes were my biggest concern in a tropical climate, but they did an amazing job keeping them away with incense.

The team really made this place stand out. Nothing was too much trouble, and they took time to share their experiences with our family. De Ubud is peaceful and relaxing, with very spacious, well-appointed villas that still keep the Bali culture. It’s a little way from Ubud centre, but the shuttle is available on demand, so you get both the quiet setting and easy access to town. We’ll be back.

Everything about our stay felt magical. The staff were so friendly and attentive, more like a family, and made us feel welcome and well looked after. The villa is very Instagramable, and having the option to eat breakfast anytime was amazing, especially since we were jet-lagged. The shuttle is available on request too. Wildlife was part of the experience, with frogs, lizards, and bats, just like everywhere in Bali. When anything came up, the staff responded quickly and took care of it. We loved our stay.
