Rahayu House Ubud By Zuzu

The owners helped us rent a bike and 2 helmets at a very good price. They’re lively and interesting people, and we got to see traditional rituals and beautiful Balinese outfits while staying there. We’ll remember our time here, and are very grateful for the warm welcome and friendliness. The grounds are beautiful and have lots of poultry, some of it even talking! We had a very large double room on the first floor, in a corner with panoramic windows. It’s a traditional Bali atmosphere, and the grounds are quiet even though it’s right in the center of Ubud on the main street. Sometimes insects got in, but I guess that can happen anywhere. We couldn’t get the TV to turn on, though we didn’t need it. When we asked, they brought a kettle, a hairdryer, and an extra clothes dryer, although these weren’t included in the room price. The swimming pool was amazing, and breakfast was okay. The hotel was nice and we had a good stay, though it wasn’t great. The bathrooms are old but usable. There was a cockroach in our bathroom, and hotel staff didn’t remove it.

The family living here are adorable, and even the cat is lovely. The hosts were quick to respond and always willing to help. I also got hours of work done in a really comfortable coworking space, with wifi that worked perfectly. It’s a peaceful area, ideal for sleeping well, with a supermarket and plenty of shops nearby. My room was very clean and looked just like the photos. I loved staying here. If I come back to Ubud I'll stay there for sure. Thanks for everything!

I stayed for 31 days and absolutely loved it. The staff were delightful, so kind and helpful. I loved the pool, with its two beautiful sculpture fountains, and went for a swim at least twice a day, after breakfast and after a long day walking in Ubud. When the internet went down once, the owner, Ayu, reset the router within 5 minutes of my text. I highly recommend this place to everyone. When I come back to Ubud, I’ll definitely stay again.
