Eustace Place Bali

Ari's place felt like a special little oasis in the middle of Ubud, and I felt at home right away. I’m very sensitive to traffic noise but couldn’t hear any there. Instead, I listened to birds and the breeze in the trees. The views from the windows and balcony were stunning. Ari's dad, Eustace, made a delicious breakfast each morning: omelets, a generous assortment of fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and toast. The bed was very comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were spacious. There was lots of natural light and plenty of space to hang or put away clothes. The AC and fan worked well. Mostly, I loved seeing Eustace’s smile in the morning. It’s a place with a special energy. I couldn’t believe it was available when I booked, and it feels like Ubud’s best kept secret. I’d book again without hesitation. Terima kashi Ari and Eustace! 🙏

Uncle’s breakfast was the best part. You can really feel the care and effort he puts into it, and it made me feel at home. The couple are wonderful and take care of everything. This is a lovely, quaint home close to the centre but still peaceful and surrounded by nature. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend a visit.

The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was hearty and really good. The garden is tiny, but there’s still plenty to notice: a cute bunny came by, we saw a giant snail and lots of pairs of birds, and it was relaxing to watch Eustace garden. It’s a lovely, quaint little stay. Don’t expect a fancy hotel room, though the price reflects that, especially given the great location.

I had a lovely room upstairs, with a balcony looking out onto the garden. It was peaceful despite being right in central Ubud, and there was good breakfast plus coffee and tea available all day. The one downside was hearing everything from the neighbors in the room next door.
