It’s a decent, budget-friendly place run by a local family, with a homely feel. Breakfast could use some work because there was a hair in my omelette, lol, but otherwise things were pretty good. The best part was Junior the pug and the small chihuahua 💗

The place feels welcoming and relaxing as soon as you walk through the entrance. It’s quiet, with a firm mattress, a good shower, air conditioning, and a ceiling fan. The pool looks lovely in the evening when the lights around it glow.

I’ve been staying in Bali for the last 2-3 years. I haven’t stayed here, but reading the reviews made me wonder about one thing. A guest mentioned it, and I know some Korean visitors like having their towels changed every day. Let’s do the math: imagine you and your partner live together in your own country, with no children. One face towel and one bath towel each means four towels a day. Over 30 days, that’s 120 towels washed at home, and 1,440 in a year. If that’s really what you do, then sure, ask for daily changes. Otherwise, is it just, “I’ve paid, even for one night, so they should have to wash the towels after me anyway”? What about detergent, energy, and the environment? Do the towels get clean just by looking at them, or by sending them brain energy?

I arrived late and only booked a quick overnight stay, but the value turned out to be great. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, the bed was spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I think this place would be even better for a longer stay. Highly recommended!
