The room was moldy, and the very dirty kitchen was no use to me. The cutlery couldn’t be used either. I found the place disgusting, including the owner. I stayed for four nights with my son while 38 weeks pregnant because my villa was being renovated. When I checked in, I asked for the bank details so I could transfer the payment, but nobody sent them during the four days. On my last morning, I had a check-up at the hospital in Canggu, so I texted the owner to say I’d checked out and could collect my things in the afternoon when I had a car. I also explained that my phone had no service or internet, and that I could transfer the money once I got home and had a connection, if she finally sent the bank details. The owner then said she’d charge me for another day if I didn’t pick up my things by 11:30am. She started calling and texting repeatedly, demanding immediate payment, but I couldn’t see any of it without internet. At 4pm, once I was online, I saw a message saying, “Karma is at work and my baby in my womb will not survive.” 😳 I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Very basic, but the Balinese family were friendly.

I only managed one night here, but I’d like to return next time. It’s a lovely homestay in a calm, more local area, and the family are super friendly. Everything was well arranged, with a spacious, clean room, a comfortable bed, AC and van, plus beautiful wooden furniture. Thanks again, dear family 🙏🏼

The little garden is lovely and relaxing, and the owner made me feel very welcome. From the corner room upstairs, the terrace has an open view. A nice place to stay.

A good spot to get away from city life, with a large room for a cheap price, great Wi-Fi, hot running water, and attractive exterior architecture. There were a few damp spots in the room, though, and the one without AC can feel a bit hot sometimes.
