Lavani Villa Ubud

We couldn’t even spend the night at Lavani Villa. After initially finding it nice and peaceful, we saw a mouse run from the room into the garden. Looking around, we noticed several more hiding behind the curtains and in the corners. It was really unsettling, and then one fell into the pool. We called the staff, and someone came to remove it, but we’d already decided to leave. We packed up that evening and moved elsewhere. It didn’t feel clean or safe. We contacted Airbnb and thankfully got a refund, though this was far from the vacation experience we expected. The mice made us feel the place had a serious hygiene and pest-control issue. Being near nature is fine, but mice in the room are unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for families. Be careful.

We regret booking for only one night and hope to come back. Lavani Villa was a hidden gem, equipped with everything needed for a wonderful staycation, and kept meticulously clean. The staff were polite and friendly, and explained the villa features clearly and kindly. Ketut was the star. He handled our last-minute request late at night and arranged for a lady to deliver it to our villa the next morning. Breakfast was tasty and filling too. Dani, the owner, promptly answered our questions and addressed our concerns before and during the stay, really making sure things went well. It’s hard to describe how much we enjoyed it.

The workers were extremely nice, and the room was cozy and one of the cleanest villas I’ve stayed in in Bali. It was an extremely good stay, and I’d definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for somewhere in Ubud. Words don’t capture how good it was, definitely give it a try!
