We loved the shabby chic style and the outdoor bathrooms, and the frogs and geckos felt like part of the magic of our jungle hideaway. Just know what you’re getting into: it’s jungle life. The villa sits off the main road among rice fields and jungle, so even though the main street is only a 10-minute walk away, it felt secluded. We couldn’t hear traffic or neighbors. We stayed five lovely nights. The staff were kind and helpful. They weren’t always around, but a text was enough to reach them, which made it feel like a home away from home. There are great cafes and restaurants along the path by the rice fields, or an easy walk downhill to the boujee Ubud bars on the main drag.

The wooden cabin isn’t really soundproof. Still, the room was spacious and clean, and the swimming pool was nice. It’s peaceful here, away from the busy areas and near rice fields, with a few cafes and coffee places around.

Lovely calm spot along a narrow track through the rice fields. The carved wooden rooms and pool were clean, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend!

The staff were lovely, and the place has a quaint feel. It could use some renovations, though. The Australian owner should put some money into upkeep.

Such a beautiful place.
