The location worked well, about a 10-minute trip from the centre of Ubud, with a few restaurants along the road, plus a shop, spa/salon, and laundrette. The pool is big and a good temperature. Our room had a huge bed and a hot shower with soaps provided. When the TV in our original room wouldn’t work and staff couldn’t fix it, they upgraded us for free. We arrived hours before check-in, but our room was ready straight away. The staff sat us down with complimentary drinks and gave us a traditional Balinese blessing. Everyone was welcoming and made an effort to chat with my partner and me. Shinta was especially lovely, always smiling and checking that we felt comfortable and looked after. We had a 5/5 stay from beginning to end and would definitely return. Book here if you’re looking for a place in Ubud.

The service was next level. Everyone was warm and friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and our room was cleaned each day. The pool was spotless and had the relaxing Bali feel we wanted. It’s a very quiet place, away from the hustle of Ubud Center. We woke to birdsong and a lovely jungle view from our room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that I slept easily. The hotel is a little older, but the peaceful setting more than makes up for that. We’re so glad we found it, especially at such good value.

I appreciated the receptionist’s help when I had trouble with my bank while trying to withdraw money. She let me use her phone to call my bank back in South Africa. The location is also handy, walking distance to good restaurants and close to the city centre. Our room was modern, clean, and nicely decorated, with a relaxing feel. The TV seemed outdated and was a bit tricky to use, but that was a small drawback. We booked through the hotel's website and got a welcome drink, fruit basket, and complimentary 60-minute massage. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was a lovely stay, and I’m grateful to the team at Manah Shanti for their hospitality.

We’d stay again. The breakfast was great, and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is well located near ubud center. Sintia at the front desk deserves a mention for being so helpful when we checked in.
