Kadek stayed up until midnight to welcome us on our first night, and was helpful throughout our stay. He found me an iron, offered plug adapters, and arranged a scooter at a fair price. The bike was in excellent condition. They even surprised us with a pizza on our last afternoon as a thank-you, and it might be the best in town. Villa Kayu itself was spotless, well organized, spacious, and had a private pool with a beautiful view over the rice fields. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thanks for everything, Kadek. We'd definitely come back and recommend it!

The house feels open and breezy, with lots of space and lovely views through the big windows. Housekeeping was done well every day, which I appreciated. For breakfast, Edery Cafe is an affordable and tasty choice, just a two-minute ride by bike. Ubud is surrounded by nature, so sharing the place with insects and animals is part of living here.

Kadek handled communication so well, always clear, quick to respond, and ready to help. The owner was just as welcoming, and even drove us to a jeep sunrise tour that we'll remember for a long time. Mardika villa was beautiful, with peaceful surroundings that made it easy to unwind and enjoy Bali. The stay felt special from the moment we arrived, and I'd love to return. Highly recommend it in Ubud.

Kadek was quick to bring anything we needed, and the owner made our stay extra memorable with a complimentary cake for our daughter's birthday. The hospitality was top-notch. Mardika Private Villa is huge and beautifully designed, facing lush paddy fields. The peaceful setting, fresh air, and sounds of nature, including a rooster in the morning, made it a lovely place to relax. We enjoyed every moment and will book again.

Breakfast was the same every day, with only fried rice or fried noodles to choose from. The tea and coffee were the worst I've had. The villa itself looked beautiful, but insects and ants were everywhere, including tiny flying bugs in the kitchen. The sliding doors didn't work properly, the sheets and pillows were stained and unclean, and the fridge hadn't been cleaned properly.
