The staff were delightful, and they made what could have been a bad start into a great experience. In the first room, the AC leaked onto our charging phone. The staff took it on themselves to get the phone fixed and moved us to another room. It’s a quiet spot, a bit of a walk from the center but only a short drive. The room definitely needs better maintenance, though.

The hotel sits just outside the noisy city, though nearby households keep farm animals, including chickens. That’s natural, but light sleepers might want earplugs. The staff are extra nice, there are various activities, and they have good-quality rental scooters. The pool was clean and well maintained. A lady gave a perfect massage.

The staff were kind, attentive and amazing, and the hotel itself is beautiful. It’s away from the main area, so you’ll need Grab or similar. Our room wasn’t quiet: the rooster next door went off from 1am until 11pm, and we got no sleep. Such a shame, because otherwise I would’ve given more stars. The staff did give us earplugs, and I feel sorry for them since they were fantastic.

The staff and service were incredible, the food was excellent, and the place really felt like an oasis in Ubud. By far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I hope we can come back someday!

The river below our room made the loveliest background sound throughout our stay, and the whole place felt like a tropical paradise. We especially enjoyed the easy chats between meals. On arrival, we were greeted with lovely drinks, and the staff were consistently polite, respectful, and happy to offer recommendations. The food and drinks were full of flavour, nicely presented, and very affordable.
