The staff’s kindness was the highlight for us. Nang Ade speaks great English, took good care of us, arranged all our taxis, and even welcomed us when we arrived at 2am. He can drive you around Bali too, and he’s knowledgeable and helpful, so make use of that. The family compound only has a few rooms, which gives it a welcoming, laid-back feel. It’s easy to walk into central Ubud but away from the noise. The beds were comfy and the rain showers were great, though sound insulation wasn’t the best. Breakfast was simple, fruit with tea or coffee and something like scrambled eggs, nice but nothing gourmet. Good value and a great stay, we’d come back.

I booked three nights at first, then added four more. Nang Ade and the staff are warm, and the house is clean and quiet even though it’s by the roadside. The hot shower has strong pressure, the air conditioning is excellent, and the bed and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast is simple but filling. You can rent a scooter just outside, and laundry is a one minute walk away. I was very happy staying here during Galungan and definitely recommend Nang Ade House. I’ll come back!

A good choice if you’ll be out exploring all day and mainly need a place to sleep at night. The rooms are simple and decent. The hotel is in a lane, so it’s quiet, but still close to central Ubud.

The main market is only a five minute walk away, and lots of restaurants are nearby too, so the location is great. I stayed at Nang Ade House for six days and had a wonderful time. Mr. Nang Ade was kind and helpful, and the staff were very polite. The rooms were immaculately clean and everything was well maintained. WiFi was excellent, which was a big plus for me. Thanks for the hospitality, I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable, convenient stay.

This homestay feels like a peaceful little escape from busy downtown Ubud, on a street with lots of restaurants and a few minimarts. The owners’ space is beautiful and they’re so kind, and there are some adorable cats around too. Our room was large and clean, with good AC, great showers, and comfy beds. Breakfast was solid, with coffee, tea, banana pancakes, and eggs. Highly recommend.
