The hotel feels quiet and family-run, and the breakfast and juice included each day were simple but delicious. The pool is small, nicely decorated and mostly clean. Our rooms and the amenities were spacious and clean, though dated, and the bathroom was large. We came as four friends on a girls’ trip. The hotel is in a residential area with fewer tourists and is tucked among temples, so it was trickier to reach than expected. It’s also smaller than I’d imagined, and the closest shop or restaurant is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The sweet service and calm atmosphere make it a good fit for a night or two between travels.

That breakfast deserves extra points, especially the yummy mie goreng. I love this place so much. Everything was very clean and the staff were really kind and accommodating. 10/10. live. love. mie goreng 🤣🥰

We spent five amazing days here and wished we could have stayed longer. Each morning, breakfast was brought to our little private veranda by the pool, and our room looked out over the water, a fantastic way to start the day. The hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, with clean, modern, cosy rooms and a lovely tropical feel by the pool. The family who owns it are friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

The calm setting and lovely pool made it easy to unwind during our two days at Ubud Tropical Garden 2. The pool was clean and spacious, the bedrooms comfortable, and breakfast had a decent range to choose from. The location is fantastic for nearby attractions. The bathroom doors didn’t have locks, which was inconvenient, but I still had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful Ubud break.

Finding the hotel took a while because Google Maps showed the wrong location, and it’s hard to stop a vehicle outside on the narrow road. The rooms are good, though small. Service was okay.
