The large rooms and location were the main positives for me. I could walk around without being stuck in constant traffic, and there are some top restaurants within a five-minute stroll. The area is beautiful early in the morning and in the evenings. Some things made it hard to rest. There's live music from a nearby venue almost every night. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't ideal. I also had bad luck with a guest on the third floor who stomped instead of walking, then got up at 5am and spent an hour stomping and scraping furniture around while getting ready. My air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night when I had a migraine. It took hours before anyone told me a technician would need to look at it, and by then I'd decided to leave and find somewhere I could properly rest. The second-floor rooms are the best. The third-floor room I saw had mould from a roof leak. The bathrooms are old, so keep that in mind, and they don't use mattress protectors, which I personally find really gross.

The host was so helpful and accommodating, and everything was very clean. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly, though, and kept slamming and waking me up during the night 🌙

The owner was amazing and so friendly, and the location worked really well. I’d definitely come back and recommend it :)
