Great location and affordable, and I liked having a desk with a mirror and chair in the room. It let me get work done until late in the evening. Everything else was great, though the bed, pillows, and sheets had a damp smell.

Just a three-minute walk from the heart of Ubud, but still quiet and peaceful. The staff were so welcoming, and there’s a charming temple on the property. The rooms have everything you need. They’re not luxurious, but for the price they’re perfect. What a gem! 🌸

For backpackers looking for a good place without spending too much, this worked perfectly for us. We were a couple and stayed five nights. The small room and en-suite were both clean and comfortable. It’s quiet on a side street, yet central enough to reach major temples and local or western eateries in about five minutes on foot. Service was great too: we could have mail sent to the address, get laundry done, and rent a scooter without any hassle.

We booked a Mount Batur trek through the homestay and had a wonderful time. Santun is peaceful and good value, with an ideal location and a kind, welcoming host. We enjoyed our five-night stay so much that we added two more days. Would recommend!

A really good price for such a clean, pretty, quiet place right in central Ubud. The staff were very kind, and the bathroom had a sink and a shower with hot water, which is rare in Indonesia. Breakfast was watermelon and an egg and tomato sandwich, with coffee or tea. Best value for money hotel we found in Indonesia!
