We booked four nights after seeing the high Booking.com rating, and the hotel was advertised as 4-star. It fell far short of what we expected. There was a pile of garbage and wood debris near reception, and our luggage was damaged while the receptionist carried it to the room. The room smelled bad, and the view didn't match the online photos. Behind it was a rice field and a construction site, not the scenic landscape we expected. The bathroom had mold, loose fixtures including the sink and tap, and a door that was difficult to open properly. After swimming in the private pool on our first evening, my girlfriend's blonde hair had turned green and blue. We had to go to a salon the next day to get the chemicals removed. If you want free hair dye, maybe this is the place, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. The only positive was being able to check out the morning after our first night and receive a refund. In my opinion, it doesn't deserve its 4-star rating, or any stars.

Our two-bedroom villa had loads of space, and the bedroom and service were good. The living and dining areas were open, which made them uncomfortable, especially at night. Breakfast was good, and the staff were super friendly and prompt. If you're looking for somewhere to relax, this is a good fit.

The location worked perfectly for us, just beyond Ubud's busy center, and the staff were great. The hotel itself was good too, though our rooms looked a little tired. For the price, it was a good choice.

I stayed three nights and liked the hotel overall, though the room could've been cleaner. The location works well if you have a scooter, but if you're walking, staying closer to the center would be better. Breakfast was okay, and the staff were friendly and spoke good English. Thank you!
