Ary House Ubud

The family seemed warm and quick to apologize, but after a month of problems they wouldn't reduce the 7Million I paid for the second floor, which didn't feel right. I had a garden view, but there was construction nearly every day, and they burned things right in the garden, including plastic. The smell came into my room. My scooter was also left out on the street a few times because there wasn't a safe parking spot during the work. The internet was unreliable, and the air-conditioner never really worked properly. I mentioned it several times and was told it had been repaired, but it hadn't. Other guests had the same problem, and in the end it was little more than a fan. The kitchen was basically a gas burner with almost no equipment. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful to relax, I wouldn't choose this place.

We stayed on the second floor for three weeks and found it had everything we needed. The price was much lower than we'd expected, and the WiFi was decent for remote work at about 15MBps. A quiet spot in ubud, and I'd recommend it.

I could see the trees from my bed, and the room was lovely, clean, and set in a beautiful garden. There's also an outdoor kitchen to use. It's peaceful here, though still within walking distance of the Center. Ary and his family made me feel at home, and Ary took me to a temple festival that was the most impressive thing I've ever experienced. Thank you so much, Ary! A little oasis in ubud, highly recommended.

The rooms are very clean, and the place is quiet despite being in the center and close to lots of places. Ary and his family made me feel at home and part of the family. I also got to attend some ceremonies in their community, which was really interesting and gave me a richer understanding of the culture. I warmly recommend staying here.
