I’ve kept coming back to Sulendra Homestay for short and long stays in Bali for the past 9 years. It’s right in the center but still quiet and green, so I don’t need a scooter. The spacious, clean rooms have been renovated, and some include a kitchen. Breakfast is amazing, especially Maria’s pandan pancakes, which you have to try. The welcoming family and their authentic home, complete with its own temple, make for a real Balinese experience. Sulendra is a talented artist, and Yhanik is always helpful with transfers, tips and great tours around the island. I’ve recommended it to many friends from Bulgaria, and they all became friends with the Sulendra family too. Highly recommend!

The family were friendly and helpful, and any issue was easy to sort out. My room was big and clean, with a comfortable bed, AC and hot water. It’s right in the center, but I heard no cars or scooters, just sounds from nature. I loved the breakfast pancake and recommend staying here.

I spent three weeks here and loved it. Yanick and his family and staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable with everything I needed. It’s on one of my favorite streets, close to everything, yet the property itself is still quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend staying here.

A lovely week at this homestay. The family who run it are so kind and caring, and I had everything I needed. My room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend it when you come to Ubud!

My wife and I loved staying here, and we’d come back 100%. The family were so sweet and welcoming, singing karaoke while we were there. Our room had its own little kitchen and fridge, cold AC and hot showers. There are a lot of stairs, which made for a good workout, but our room was really quiet and away from the city noise. Everything’s within walking distance.
