The pool was great, and the location was a plus, but I booked three nights and left after one. The ACs didn’t work, and together with the smell, the room was horrible. It wasn’t clean either, with bugs, mold, and dirty water. Don’t recommend staying here.

I booked three nights but left after two. I stayed the second night only because the hotel was closer to Yoga Barn. Water was already an issue when I checked in, and they said they’d fix it the next day. The same problem happened again on night two. I didn’t feel safe there at night, especially as a woman traveling alone, and the management seemed not to care about guests' stay or safety. When I asked for a refund, the hotel told me to contact Agoda, where I booked. Agoda then said I had to claim from the hotel. The place wasn’t clean, and although the staff seemed kind, they didn’t know what they were doing. Just empty words and promises. I’ve never had a worse hotel experience, and would like other visitors to avoid staying here. They shouldn’t even be listed on Agoda.

I planned to stay for a month, but changed my mind after checking several rooms. Every one was moldy and smelled awful. Reviews have mentioned mold for months, maybe even a year, and it still hasn’t been fixed. That tells me they don’t care about the hotel, only the money. The rooms and pool were dirty. Staff were friendly, but that was about it. It’s expensive and hazardous to stay here. I wouldn’t recommend it at all, best to find another place.

We left a crowded hostel hoping to spend a few quiet days out of the city, and the photos of the Tukad Mas Cottage rooms looked great. Instead, we left a day early. The room had an air conditioner and a fridge, but the fridge was moldy. The staff member who helped us was very sweet and wanted the best for guests. The pool was clean for the first two days, then dirty and moldy on our last day. There was mold on the walls, floor, ceiling, curtains, mirror, and inside the wardrobe, and the room smelled bad because of it. The curtains were so dirty you couldn’t even wipe your butt with them. The sink didn’t drain properly, the faucet was loose, and the bathroom door stuck and wouldn’t close. Our room door came off the rails twice and could be opened without a key. The shower sits above the toilet, and in its holder the water shoots straight up, reaching only your face and the toilet seat. The tablecloths were dirty, the shower pressure kept changing, and the layout was the most illogical ever. The bed slats sagged about five times, the ceiling above nearly fell apart, there was a tear in the wall above the TV because of its weight, and we could hear the neighbor snoring. After we complained, the boss never showed up and seemed to leave the staff to clean everything up. At check-in you have to sign a contract saying refunds aren’t possible, or you can’t stay. We only found that out when we tried to get a refund. What a gap between expectations and reality. Rob Geus would love this hotel.
