I came on my own as an older traveler and felt very well cared for. The staff were kind and helpful, the food was great, and the juice tasted fresh and real. My room was comfortable, and the water bottle refill station was a big help. I also enjoyed the professional spa treatments and the lovely tea. I wanted to experience the 'real' Bali, and the location worked perfectly for that. My tours were tip top, and I loved the gardens, foliage, and especially the pools. The rooms are spacious, breakfast was great with lots to choose from, and the staff were friendly and provided lovely service. It would be nice to see some Indian dishes added. There wasn’t a smoking room. Even with a private balcony, smoking was only allowed in the designated area. Also, after room service, the dishes and cutlery stayed outside our door for two days.

The mornings were my favorite. The air outside was fresh, and I could go walking or try activities like cycling. The hotel was clean and well kept, with lovely rooms and tasteful decor. Service was attentive, and the reception team were enthusiastic and quick to help. I had a wonderful time, especially experiencing local customs. It went beyond what I expected, and I hope to come back many times. See you again.

Breakfast was a real struggle for us. There was very little choice for Indian travelers, hardly any variety in the fruit or juice, and we ended up getting by on bread and eggs. The lobby also felt a bit haunted, with barely any staff around, and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs despite having booked in advance. There’s no lift, which surprised me. The bathroom was a decent size, but they didn't provide body lotion, something I hadn't encountered at hotels elsewhere. Both the door lock and the locker ran out of battery during our two-day stay. It was a strange experience overall.

The place is quiet and cozy, and it’s very close to the Monkey park. Ubud wana resort is an amazing property in ubud. The staff were supportive and very good, and both breakfast and dinner during our stay were impressive. They also had a good selection of Indian food, which makes sense with lots of Indian guests. You could consider it for your next Bali vacation.
