Uma Galih Ubud Villa

What made our stay at the Como Uma Ubud exceptional was how warmly the staff welcomed us from the moment we arrived. I feel lucky to have experienced this little piece of paradise in Ubud. The grounds were beautiful, and our guest room with a private plunge pool was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious, as was the food at Uma Cucina and the pool bar.

We chose the Como Uma for our 10 year anniversary and had a fantastic stay. The pool villa was gorgeous, with lots of space and our own private pool. The design is simple but luxurious. What stood out most was how welcome and special the staff made us feel. We haven’t had that kind of treatment at a hotel before. The Como Shambala day spa was great too, with exceptional treatments at very reasonable prices. We also enjoyed the breakfast and cocktails. There was a range of activities, though we only joined the morning walk. It gave us a taste of Balinese culture, something we don’t often find at resorts around Bali. Thankyou!

BUdhi, the yoga teacher, was amazing. I had the best practice ever. From the moment I arrived, the staff were attentive and took care of every detail. Breakfast had excellent quality and variety. I’m leaving with wonderful memories and hope to return soon. It was an unforgettable stay, and I highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed in a King Pool Villa overlooking the jungle, and it was stunning. The room was huge, with a canopy bed, a lovely TV setup and an outdoor shower that felt straight out of a magazine. Looking from our private pool into the jungle was breathtaking. The wellness facilities are also excellent. COMO Shambhala Retreat spa was phenomenal. We had a head massage one day, saw a healer another day and kept returning for more treatments because they were all so good. The gym was impressive too, which you don’t always find at a resort. Service felt effortless from arrival. Staff seemed to know everyone’s name and preferences, but it came across as warm and intuitive, never forced. Breakfast was lovely each morning. One small tip: ask if you can feed the giant koi fish. The staff will give you food, and it’s a memorable little touch. I’ve been meaning to write this for ages because COMO Uma Ubud is one of the best places I’ve stayed anywhere. It’s peaceful and luxurious, and felt magical throughout. We can’t wait to return.
