The location made it easy to reach Ubud’s lively streets, and there were plenty of good places to eat nearby. We tried the Mexican restaurant across the road and Nick’s restaurant a little farther along, both served good food. Our villa was pleasant, the staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was simple but tasty, brought to the room. The bed had a mosquito net. We stayed three nights in early March 2024. It was quiet at night, though the pool was on the small side and had no loungers.

The staff are what keep bringing me back to Villa Chempaka. Made, Made, Wayan Ni Luh putu Febri, Dewa and Dewa, thank you for going out of your way to make each stay so special. I’ve stayed here on and off over the past couple of months, and it feels like another home. The villas are clean and comfortable, the gardens are gorgeous, and the location is brilliant. The air con is awesome, and breakfast is great too. I’ll be back, and I’ll send my friends and family here.

The bungalows are small and cute, and the price is great. Even though it’s right in the middle of Bisma, the place stays nice and quiet. Made is such a sweetheart, and the whole crew was fantastic. Looking forward to another visit!

Breakfast came straight to the room, and there were good facilities. It’s a quiet, romantic place in a central spot in Ubud. There’s no TV, which I actually liked.
