My children already want to come back. The villa is quiet and intimate, with lovely rice paddy and sunset views. The pool was very clean, the facilities and decor were superb, and it was well equipped. The bedrooms have air conditioning, including a suite with an outdoor bathtub. It’s about a five-minute scooter or taxi ride from central Ubud. The host was available throughout and helped my family feel at ease from start to finish. We could arrange meals delivered to the villa, floating breakfast, massages, and laundry. One tip: the last part of the road is a bit narrow, so follow the advice to arrange a local driver or use Gojek or Grab. It’s only a two-minute walk to the main road.

We used Gojek several times to order things, and I’d highly recommend the app for getting what you need in Bali. We also booked massages on most days, with the service coming right to the villa. It was a lovely break for our bodies and minds before carrying on with our adventure. A great choice if you want to properly relax.

They provide a lot of useful things, including a water cooler, plates, cups, spoons, knives, a pressure cooker, a fridge, and a microwave. Laundry is available too, though it takes about a day to be ready. There’s a night guard, and if you need something, you can call the villa owner, who’ll get back to you even at night. The place is legendary, comfortable, and clean. I hope it stays that way, because it’ll be my only destination in Ubud.
