The villa looked even prettier in person than it did in the photos. There's a lovely café and spa just a two-minute walk away, which was very convenient. Thanks especially to Chardii, our villa host, who helped arrange activities and groceries and was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

The hostess was great, and she made a lovely breakfast whenever we ordered one. The rooms were well appointed, with a nice cafe nearby and a lovely pool. It felt like a homely place.

The massage was a highlight of our five days at Villa Dua Baskom. I booked one at the villa each day and recommend Murdani. Her two-hour Balinese intensive massage costs 330,000 IDR, about NT$600, which felt like great value. I chose medium intensity and found the whole treatment comfortable, relaxing, and thorough. Remember to ask for “intensive.” Our family of four adults and two children had a wonderful trip, with Wayan looking after us attentively from check-in through all the little details. That made it easy to relax and enjoy our time in Ubud.
