Toko Toko Bungalows

I stayed for a week and had ants throughout the room, even with daily cleaning. The staff were nice, but the pool needed better maintenance and the loungers nearby were worn out. Breakfast was limited to three basic items, and with so many choices in Bali, I'd stay somewhere else next time.

We spent 11 beautiful days there and came away feeling we'd let go of things that had built up. Experiencing the sacred Balinese way of life turned the trip into something more than a holiday for us, almost a spiritual transcendence. We're already planning another visit.

I've stayed here many times over the years, and it's always been just right. It's a quiet, family-run hotel. The new rooms are beautiful, though I still like the original ones by the pool. Another pool is being built near the new rooms. There are lovely rice field views, good restaurants close by, and central Ubud is walkable or a short Grab ride away.

Right in the middle of Ubud, yet it feels like a little retreat. The views are beautiful, and nature sounds are part of everyday life here. Each room feels private enough to do your own thing, then you can step straight out into central Ubud's bustle. The staff are welcoming, and drivers are available to take you wherever you want.
