Villa Uma Anyar Ubud

The owner was super friendly and helped with everything we asked for. Breakfast was great and arrived right on time. The villa is open to the outdoors everywhere except the rooms, yet the staff keep it impeccably clean. We did spot a few geckos and hear frogs at night out on the patio, but the place was still as clean as it could be, and none of that was in the rooms.

I’ll remember this magical place for the rest of my life. There was so much love and joy here, and you really feel looked after. The staff will help with any question and make your stay unforgettable. The owners Poul and Uma have put their whole soul into the place. Manager Gede seems able to do anything, and he understands and helps. I’m happy I got to know this family and stay here. The villa’s beauty and special style are hard to put into words. It’s clean and comfortable, with perfect service. Conveniently close to Ubud but tucked away somewhere very quiet. I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a creative place surrounded by nature and enjoy peace and quiet. You can request a massage, and the staff cook really tasty food. The breakfasts, cappuccino and fresh coconuts were wonderful. You can also order delicious lunch and dinner. Thanks for this time here.

My friends and I stayed in this stunning villa over New Year’s, and we fell in love with it as soon as we arrived. It was super clean, beautifully designed and very comfortable. The space felt open and spacious while still being cozy. The air conditioning in the rooms was a big plus, and the large private pool overlooking the rice paddies and greenery felt magical. Gede and the staff made the stay extra special with their kindness and hospitality. We arranged a home-cooked New Year’s Eve dinner at the villa, and they set the table up beautifully for us. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Ubud centre, but we didn’t mind because it was so peaceful away from the busy town. You can rent a scooter or use Grab, which is a very cheap taxi service. I highly recommend the villa and would definitely stay again.

The villa is huge, and the outdoor living room is stunning. You can jump straight from the sofa into the amazing pool, with its great view over the rice fields. Breakfast was great, with everything we needed, and Gede was a really nice, helpful guy. It’s a bit outside Ubud but still reachable, with nice parking. If you drive, get a small car so you don’t have trouble on the little road to the villa. A perfect place for a calm holiday. This place is insane, we’re coming back!
