I stopped at this quiet, isolated place on the way to Tamblingan (three lakes), and it was a fantastic place to take a break. It's owned and run by a really nice gentleman. If you're cycling, getting here isn't easy: some hills are very steep, and parts of the path are reduced to fist-sized stones, which makes the ride challenging to say the least. Highly recommended. Mulia Garden is a peaceful, authentic mountain escape, well away from the busy tourist spots. You can take in the wide views, cool off in the clean river, or just sit and listen to music and chanting drift across the valley three times a day from Pura (Temple) Siwa. It leaves you feeling refreshed and re-energised.
