Roots Tree House

The treehouses are so thoughtfully designed and fun to stay in, and there are plenty of little spots to sit or get a bite to eat. You can also book a massage. We spent five days here and felt more relaxed and cared for than we have in ages. Check-in was easy and warm, and the care put into the place made us feel at ease right away. Being surrounded by nature was a highlight. We saw lovely butterflies, some very cool snails, and the occasional frog or gecko. We were here in the wet season and got wonderful thunderstorms and peaceful rain. The power went out at night while we were asleep, but the design meant it didn’t get in the way, and it didn’t bother us. The staff and owner were incredibly kind, and you can see how much effort goes into keeping the place beautiful and sustainable. Service was excellent. You can text the staff after hours if you need something, though we didn’t have to, since everything was already set up for us. Of course, there are bugs in a natural setting, but they provide natural repellent spray in all the common areas, which was a thoughtful touch. We loved our stay and will be back again and again. Thanks to the owner and the lovely staff for making it so special.

For anyone who enjoys nature and pools, this place is well worth a visit. It has an open stay concept, lovely surroundings, and a heavenly feel. The aesthetics and atmosphere are great, and the staff were supportive and hospitable. I’d give it 10/10 across the board.

The entrance looks like it belongs in a Lord of the Rings or Hobbit film, and the little treehouses feel like something you’d dream about as a kid. The whole place is stunning, and the amenities are really nice too. Staff were attentive and incredibly kind, the food was delicious, and the dining area was nice. Ana made everything easy with her hospitality. My girlfriend loved it so much she spent ages taking photos of all the things she liked. If you love nature and the pure feel of a place like this, I can’t recommend it enough. Hope to return 🤙🏽

We stayed in the Cinnamon treehouse, which felt like a fairytale. The houses are beautiful, clean, cozy, and have everything you need, including air conditioning. The whole property feels magical, surrounded by nature and full of thoughtful details. We had one tiny gecko visit, which added to the feeling of being in a natural setting. The staff were lovely and reachable on WhatsApp, and the owner was often around making sure things were just right. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, a great start to each day. Although we’d heard taxis could be tricky because the place is remote, we had no trouble at all and Gojek drivers arrived quickly each time. Roots Treehouse was a dream stay. If you want somewhere quiet, romantic, and special in Uluwatu, this is a great choice. Highly recommend! 💛
