The team made the whole week such a good experience. They were always checking what we wanted for dinner, and even the takeaway meals were prepared really well. Everyone was ready to help and find a solution. Tania was especially attentive to our requests. A great trip!

The restaurant is simple, with only 3-4 options at breakfast and dinner, but the food is fresh and healthy. The rooms are superb, with A/C, a private bathroom and a hot shower, and you can choose between rooms around the pool or stilt houses along the 2 piers over the sea. The poolside rooms have wifi but are close together. The resort sits in mangroves, with its restaurant and rooms right by the water. It’s on Waigeo Island’s southern coast, about 20 minutes by car from Waisai and the ferry from Sorong. Piaynemo, a UNESCO site, is 80 minutes away by speedboat, and the other main spots are 45-90 minutes away by boat. There’s a private harbor for excursions, plus a coral reef you can snorkel from the resort pier. Credit cards are accepted.

The restaurant was good, and there’s a diving center here. Check the air before diving, though. Mine smelled a bit at first, but it was fine on the second day after we told them.
