The rooftop view was beautiful, but the room itself hadn't been cleaned even though I had booked it. The floor was very dirty, and there were no towels, soap, or toothbrushes. I booked two rooms, and one had its bathroom outside. There was no parking included. To park, you had to use a paid lot and pay another 20,000 IDR for a motorbike.

The room smelled so strongly of damp that it felt like nobody had lived there for two years. The water heater was dead, which was rough in that cold. I don't know if the woman was the owner, but the service from whoever was running the place was the worst I've had at a hostel. I really regret staying there.

It's in a handy spot near Dieng's landmarks and places to eat. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the service was good. There's Wi-Fi, a TV, and hot water, and you can order reasonably priced food at the hotel.

I was charged again in cash even though the full amount had already been paid by debit card through the app. The owner apparently still doesn't know how the app works and insisted the payment hadn't gone through. The room was cramped and dirty, and the shower was broken. Then the price kept changing on the spot, from 130 to 150, then 160, and finally 170 after they said tax wasn't included. I'm fed up.
