MOZA HOUSE Wonosobo

Fajar is incredibly kind and loves showing people his native region. I can only recommend him and his accommodation. His house is beautiful, clean, and modern. He also has over 15 years' experience as a chef around the world, and it shows in his cooking. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, so you won't be disappointed. I spent three nights here and felt completely at home. Fajar speaks fluent English, and even though this is a family-run guesthouse, he's very professional. His fish tanks are fascinating, too. He has made a little booklet about nearby attractions. When I arrived, he sat with me and went through it point by point, recommending some great local restaurants as well. On my last day, he took me around the village to see the rice terraces. What a super host!

The village is quaint, and the landscapes around it are stunning. The owners made me feel incredibly welcome and were generous and helpful without ever being pushy. They lent me a motorbike, showed me local sights and foods, and took me on a sunrise Dieng tour, all for an amazing price. The house is beautiful, with several aquariums and a Koi fish pond on the roof terrace. My room was very clean, with a nice hot shower, private bathroom, and AC. The owners were incredible and made my stay an absolute joy. I can only recommend this homestay wholeheartedly!!!
