OYO 194 Hotel Sapta Gria

I was hoping to use the pool, but its bottom was green with algae, and it looked like it hadn't been cared for properly in months. There's no alcohol for sale at the hotel or nearby stores, either. Back in the room, the thick mold smell made my lungs feel heavy and my head dizzy. The sheets were damp, and the AC was on, but visibly unclean. The bathroom was filthy, with flickering lights, mold in the tile grooves, and a leaking toilet that ran all night. The shower was cold, not hot.

The staff service was great, and I enjoyed the facilities too. The AC, hot water, and TV all worked well. It's an older place, but still cozy and very central, with Pizza Hut, Gramedia, KFC, McD, and some nice hangout spots nearby. I found it through a Google voucher and really loved the hotel. I'd like to come back another time, hopefully ❤️

It's right in central Yogyakarta, with lots of restaurants nearby, and works well as a starting point for a trip. There's a bathtub and a pool. The room and bathroom had a stale, dingy smell, the furniture was damaged and outdated, and basic things were missing, including mineral water, coffee, towels, and a toothbrush. There also weren't many staff around.

Raminten Restaurant and Madam Tan are close enough to walk to if you want local traditional food. KFC, Pizza Hut, and McD are nearby too. I hadn't heard of the hotel before and thought it might have just joined OYO, but it seemed to be full almost every night I stayed. Malioboro Street and Tugu Monument are only about five minutes away.
