Tucked among rice paddies, this is a lovely little find. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, and the friendly staff gave good service. The food was good too. The place has a boutique sort of feel.

I could happily sit by the restaurant or pool for hours, just taking in the view. It’s such a relaxing place, and everything was clean with an excellent breakfast. The owners welcomed us warmly, and the staff were attentive too. We’d gladly stay here again and again. Thank you for the hospitality.

After three hectic weeks in West Java, I came to Blue Garden,Yogyakarta for some quiet, and it was just what I needed. It’s set away from town, which makes it peaceful, though Yogya central is only about 20 minutes away. A cab cost me £3/€3.5, and one of the usual apps found a pickup within five minutes. The rooms are a high standard, and the food is good quality for a fair price. Enjoy your stay here.

We all loved the Nasi Goreng so much that my 6-year-old nephew is still talking about it! I stayed a few days with my family, and it was a memorable visit. The place has a lovely rice field view, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and pretty. Service was excellent, and breakfast was delicious each day. We’d definitely come back.

Robert, the owner, sorted out travel for us to Prambanan and Borobudur and then on to the airport, and he can fix anything. The property is around 20-30 minutes from central Yog, with gorgeous views and walks nearby. Our room was well equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The on-site restaurant cooked a great range of Asian and western food beautifully. A great base in the Yogyakarta area.
