What makes Malioboro special is the mix of old heritage buildings, street sellers, performers, and Yogyakarta's welcoming feel. The street runs from Tugu Monument to Kilometer Zero and is known for shopping, food, and culture. You can find affordable batik and crafts, authentic street food, and plenty of history and culture in a central spot with easy access. I recommend it to tourists looking to shop and experience local life. I still love this place.

There's a food court on the top floor, and the mall can work as a parking spot when visiting Malioboro Street. Otherwise, it doesn't have much going on. It's quiet, with few tenants, and the entrance at the back is awkward. There's no direct access to Malioboro.

A really impressive, “world class” mall. It's large and modern, with a wide choice of shops and some lovely places to eat or grab a drink, including spots with beautiful city views. Shop owners were friendly, and we got very good service in several stores. Well done Yogyakarta!

I've loved this mall since my college days in 2003, and it's still my favorite in Jogjakarta. Right in a prime spot on Malioboro street, with all sorts of shops and a food court. It feels so cozy and hommy.

Malioboro is more my kind of place at night than in the daytime. You can really feel the evening Jogjakarta atmosphere then, with angklung performances and live music at 0 kilometer of Jogja. You can also rent an autoped scooter and ride around.
