The place is well equipped and comfortable, and the location works well. I stayed here with my family for three days, our first time. Just take it slow on the narrow road in, since cars have little room. Also, the bathroom door doesn't lock.
Wistara Guest House was my first guest house stay in Yogyakarta, and I found it clean and comfortable. The service was good and everyone was friendly. If you're unsure where to stay in Yogyakarta, I'd recommend booking here 👍🏻
Three rooms with AC and two bathrooms, and I had a good two-night stay. Recommended, and I'd come back.
The area felt comfortable and safe, and Wistara Guest House even has a refillable water jug, which was really handy on vacation lol. Inside, the kitchen and bathroom were clean, the fridge was huge, and the extra bed was thick. It's easy to get around central Jogja by car or motorbike, and breakfast is within walking distance. My first guest house experience in Jogja was top tier. Thanks, Wistara Guest House!
Right in the middle of the city, but quiet at night. It worked really well for our family, and kids are welcome too.
