Ceria Hotel @alun Alun Yogyakarta

I picked Ceria Hotel as somewhere quiet to focus on work, and it turned out to be my best stay in Indonesia. The room was peaceful, clean, and comfortable. Even with the greenery outside, I hardly saw any bugs. My single room had enough space for me to work out, and cleaning was available every day. The outside area was well kept and cleaned daily, with thoughtful, attractive decor. What made the stay especially easy was the range of services. The coffee shop serves good food and coffee, delivered either to the seating area while you work or to your room when you’re resting. They can also arrange a massage in your room, so you can stay in without missing much. The staff seem to truly enjoy making guests feel at home. They know who’s in each room and what people have ordered, which made me feel safe. Everyone spoke good English, and someone was always at the desk to help. I love that it doesn’t feel like a business hotel, you can sense how much the staff care about their work. The service is so good that I’m surprised they don’t charge more. Dedicated, passionate, kind people who take pride in doing things well are hard to find. I absolutely recommend it.
