Griya Sentana Hotel Jogjakarta

The really good wifi was a nice surprise. We stayed at the Griya Sentana Hotel for four nights, and could easily have stayed longer. As an Italian couple around 35, we found the staff super friendly and ready to help, and the room was spacious. The beds look almost king-sized in some wide-angle photos, but they're actually French beds, and still very comfortable. The bathroom ventilation was a clever touch: a huge fan kept it free of mold and humidity. The AC worked very well, and the room was made up daily, with two small bottles of water, coffee and tea replenished. Some areas could use more detailed cleaning, like corners and a few surfaces, and a bit of maintenance. Limestone partly blocks the shower, though it still works. The manager asked for suggestions and was keen to listen, so I honestly expect some improvements for future guests. It's a perfect place to stay as long as your expectations are realistic. It isn't a Western four-star hotel. By my Italian reference, I'd compare it to a two-star place with some three-star services. I'd highly recommend it.
