It’s a peaceful place at an affordable rate, with plenty of parking and a fairly roomy entrance. You can rent a scooter here to get around, too. The manager is a local from Jogja and can help guide you during your stay in Yogyakarta.

At 135 RB, the room didn’t come with bath soap or mineral water, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. When I asked, the staff said it just didn’t work and there was no STB 🤨. It was hot with only a small fan, and adding AC cost another 50 RB, bringing the night’s total to 185 RB. Really disappointing and not recommended 🥱. Looking at the reviews afterward, the poor experience seems consistent.

I keep coming back to this guesthouse in Prawirotaman, Yogyakarta, and the owner is lovely and welcoming. During high season I paid about 200,000 Rupiah. Just be aware that some rooms have TVs and some don’t, and there’s no hot shower.

Pretty comfortable for what it costs. The owner is nice, and if you need to stay longer, you can talk it over with them.
