Panca Dewi Guest House

The owner was genuinely very friendly, but that doesn’t make up for the poor cleanliness. Our first room still had a completely wet bathroom when we arrived, with hair and fur on the floor. After we complained, they moved us to another room, but there was hair and fur on the bathroom and bedroom floors there too. The previous guests’ soap and shower products had been left behind. They didn’t seem to think it was an issue and wiped a bit with a towel, which changed nothing (see picture). The breakfast room is right in front of the rooms, and we were unlucky to have a noisy Indonesian family eating from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m. We couldn’t get any sleep. Breakfast itself was very basic, just a bag of toast bread, a jar of jam, something like Nutella, plus coffee and tea. We travel simply, and the price is relatively cheap, but this still wasn’t value for money. Cheap shouldn’t mean sacrificing cleanliness.
