The location beside the train station is good, but I don't get the positive reviews. The room felt completely unhealthy, with what looked like a whole cockroach family moving around. I know you can only expect so much at this price, but this was unacceptable. The receptionist was friendly, though he didn't speak English, so we couldn't communicate.

The lighting is the main thing I'd change. The place feels dull, especially the pod on the second floor and the toilets at night. A spotlight or LED bulb might make it feel much brighter and more luxurious. The pod has ordinary curtains, which I actually liked since getting to the bathroom doesn't involve using a code or card. It's wooden, almost like sleeping in a cupboard, but roomy enough that I could stand with half my body upright. There's a key locker underneath, though it's only big enough for a backpack. Sockets, hangers, lights, and towels are provided. The toilets and bathrooms are separate, with three of each. They're clean and well maintained, soap is supplied, and the hot water is really good. The prayer room is spacious. There's a minimarket next door for snacks, and a dispenser downstairs, though it wasn't working when I was there. The lobby is roomy and has a communal work table. You need a pass to open the front entrance from inside, and they ask for a 100,000 IDR deposit. Service felt a little grumpy and not especially kind. I stopped here because I had an early train the next day. For a short stay, it's okay and the price is reasonable, but I wouldn't find it comfortable for more than two days.

Books, comics, and board games give you something to enjoy here. The hostel is clean, the service is good, and I think it's the best-priced option in central Jogjakarta. Don't hesitate to come.

There's parking space in front of the hostel, and you can borrow books or board games to use in your room. The bed and bathroom were clean, and I found them comfortable. It's a simple, minimalist place that suits backpackers, close to Jogjakarta Tugu Station and not too far from the city's landmark.

The staff were friendly, the place was clean and comfy, and it felt homey. Check-in was quick, and they explained the hostel clearly. It was my first stay, but I already felt at home. I'll definitely come back.
