Parking was easy, with space in the hotel basement. The main nuisance was the morning noise: audio plays in the corridor, and staff near the stairs can be heard chatting. If that bothers you, avoid rooms 311 / 411 / 511. Other than that, it was awesome.

I’d stayed here on each of my Yogyakarta visits over the past four years and had recommended it to friends. The rooms were great, and although the food used to disappoint me, it had improved over the last two years. That’s why my recent stay was such a letdown. I arrived at 5pm on Friday, April 4-5, 2025, after a long drive, with a booking for a grand executives room. The receptionist gave me key 305, but another family was already in that room. How could they hand out a key to an occupied room? We then waited a couple of hours while the other customers were moved and the room was cleaned. This was unacceptable and unprofessional. I think it’s time for me to look for other hotels in Yogyakarta.

There’s a traditional market right across from the hotel, handy for groceries and maybe breakfast. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the ceramic flooring gave it a fancy feel.

The hotel is well placed near Tugu Yogyakarta, and our room was clean, smelled nice, and had two queen beds. Breakfast was okay, though the food choices were limited. Parking spaces are very limited, but the hotel security was a big help with valet parking 👍👍👍. I’d recommend it for families 👏👏👏
