Tickle Hotel

The receptionist wasn't always there 24/7, so when we needed something, nobody picked up the call 😔. The family room was large enough for one family, with a queen bed and a single bed. The bathroom was big and spacious too. Breakfast wasn't really okay: they served something different each day, but it was always one kind of vegetable, one kind of chicken, one kind of noodle, and one kind of fruit.

Aside from one unsettling night, everything was okay and it was a nice hotel. My friends and I couldn't sleep because our rooms and the corridor smelled as if there might be a gas leak. One of us called the front desk, and they said nothing was wrong and that it wasn't gas, just a smell from the basement (?). Nothing happened, though it still worried us.

I stayed a few days and would certainly return on my next visit. The management, staff, and hotel were up to the price, maybe even better than average. For the price, comfort, location, service, food, shopping, movies, and transport were all spot on. Just a couple of small complaints: the Wi-Fi sometimes cut in and out, and the tea was served sweet when it should not have been sugary. I'd give it 9.9 out of 10. 👍

The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful, and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Great service and a great experience! The room was big, clean, tidy, and very comfortable. I especially loved the fragrance of the bed sheets 😁. The location made it easy to get around and find what we needed. One of the best affordable hotels in Jogja for a weekend getaway, staycation, or holiday. I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍🥳
