The hosts were warm, and I liked staying in a local neighborhood. It’s also handy for the train station, and the air conditioning was a welcome relief in Yogyakarta’s heat. The room is basic and small, with a mattress on the floor and a TV. I didn’t sleep well, though. Planes flew overhead for much of the night, and traffic from the nearby main road was audible too. Bring earplugs if you stay here.
We couldn’t stay. The place felt shady, was dirty throughout, and the room was tiny, with barely space for the mattress on the floor. The shared bathrooms were very dirty too. The price was extremely low, so maybe it could work for someone on a very tight budget for one night, but I can’t understand how it got such good reviews.
Clean and pleasant, with good Wi-Fi. They also provide drinking water and coffee for free.
Fine for a brief visit, but that’s about it.
Good.
