The gardens are lovely, and the location is central but tucked down a quiet street. When I needed to get somewhere quickly, a motorbike taxi showed up in two minutes. Inside, the building felt like a carefully maintained museum, with a peek into colonial life. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and breakfast was fresh, healthy, and clearly made with care.

The staff were really nice. The man at the entrance always seemed to be there, whether he was opening the door for us at 1 a.m. or getting breakfast ready at 7 a.m. The villa is large and colonial in style, with old-fashioned rooms that don’t feel outdated, and it has AC. It’s a little far from malioboro, but maxim and grab can help with that. I’d definitely recommend it!

We stayed for a week, and it felt like home :) The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the front veranda is a lovely place to sit in the evening or when it rains. The beautiful colonial building is cared for down to every detail. This is the best homestay I’ve ever stayed in.

The breakfast was tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful old house that’s been well looked after, and it made for the best homestay experience in Jogya. I’d definitely come back and stay longer!

Stayed one night, Friday to Saturday, 24-25.05.2024, while travelling from MGL to JKT. The spacious, exclusive homestay was clean and orderly, with lovely decor, artifacts, and greenery. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly prepared, wholesome, and home-cooked. We had a local option and a vegetarian one, sautéed vegetables with rice. It started with water, tea, and coffee, then fresh local fruit, papaya and watermelon, plus pink guava juice. So cool! PS: The front door is locked for safety.
