It's peaceful and clean, with a homelike feel, and being so close to Malioboro makes it easy to explore the city. I had a really nice stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere quiet and comfortable in Yogyakarta.

Really good service, and I recommend the place. There's an indoor shared area with tables and chairs, plus an outdoor spot where you can sit and stay dry when it rains.

Getting around on foot was easy, with the main attractions nearby. The location is also quiet, away from the main roads, and about a 5-8 minute walk from the train station. There are a few mosques in the area, but their call to prayer never woke me. My room had lots of space, a big comfortable bed, and a hot shower. Everything, including the shared areas, was spotlessly clean. There are shared seats and water dispensers, as well as a kitchen I believe guests can use, though I never tried it.

There are eateries very close by, and both Malioboro and the train station are a seven-minute walk away. See the photo for the unmarked rear entrance. My room had mosquitoes. Coffee and tea were available in the afternoon but not in the morning, while drinking water was available around the clock.
