Sae Sae Hostel

The garden is the best part, with music playing softly. The place is beautiful and comfortable, and everything was really clean. They offer WiFi, free tea and coffee, and hot showers, among other services. The staff are friendly and speak English very well. There's a laundry right across from the hostel.

The common garden is beautiful and the staff are friendly, but they're not strict about noise. There's no quiet time, and people were coming and going from rooms around the shared toilets and washing area until 1 am or later. The doors are very thin, and even earplugs didn't help. I was still awake at 1 am because of the noise. This place suits people who want to stay up late and drink beer without worrying about guests who need sleep. There are plenty of bars nearby. Good luck sleeping 😂😂😂

The outside seating area has more character than most bars, and the beer is good and cheap. It's a relaxed atmosphere, with really nice, helpful staff. Highly recommend it for travelers.

We found it so comfortable that we came back twice. It's full of greenery and has a shared kitchen, plus a tiny Sadé kitchen that works as a restaurant. The staff are friendly, helpful, quick to respond, and payment was easy. The location is convenient in southern Yogyakarta, right across from the laundry and within walking distance of Tirodipuran and Prawirotaman. Getting a gojek or grab is super easy.
