Septia Hotel

For the low price, it was quite cheap despite the problems, and the location is convenient, 1 km from both Malioboro and Yogyakarta Tugu train station. It’s a basic budget hotel, with soap, a toothbrush, and towels, but no slippers. There are only 3 or 4 floors, though there’s no lift, so you have to take the stairs. The WiFi was fine, and the hot shower was good enough. The AC worked but didn’t cool the room much, so it felt warm. The old TV had poor reception, apparently still using an antenna. The room was showing its age and felt kind of dirty, with dim lights that couldn’t be made brighter. I found mosquitoes, ants, and a spider with its web under the table, so watch out if you bring food because the ants will find it. The electrical sockets are under the table, near that web, and far from the beds.
